My commitment to you.

For many of us, the first thing that comes to mind when we are asked what we love about this city is our park system. The parks are the soul of this city that ties us to one another. Our sense of community, our commitment to one another, stems from our fantastic public spaces that help give everyone an opportunity to thrive. That is why it is so critical that the Park Board functions at a high level. I’m happy to say that the Park Board has been productive and cordial since my election, if reelected I intend to keep it that way. We must also remember that this cannot come at the expense of elevating needed and passionate community voices. I will continue to honor this nuance as your Commissioner.

As your commissioner, I am committed to working with my colleagues and constituents in an honest, forthright, and civil manner. If reelected, I will continue my focus on good governance to guarantee the continued excellence of our wonderful parks.
